{"id":12,"date":"2023-01-07T13:36:09","date_gmt":"2023-01-07T13:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edvvs.org\/wp_edvvs\/?page_id=12"},"modified":"2023-01-07T15:53:58","modified_gmt":"2023-01-07T15:53:58","slug":"society-meetings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/edvvs.org\/wp_edvvs\/?page_id=12","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Society Meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All our meetings take place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/whitewebbsmuseum.co.uk\">Whitewebbs Museum of Transport<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Society Meetings open for all members<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>8pm<\/strong> on the <strong>2nd and 4th Monday<\/strong> of the month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EDVVS holds two meetings each month in the Club Room at Whitewebbs Museum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/edvvs.org\/wp_edvvs\/?page_id=20\">These meetings<\/a> are open to Members and their guests and anyone interested in the subject matter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have speakers on transport related, historical and general topics of interest, activities such as quiz nights, bring a car night, runs out to places of interest and even weekends away and other social events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are always interested in suggestions from speakers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a weekly raffle to help cover our expenses.<\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"https:\/\/edvvs.org\/wp_edvvs\/?page_id=20\">Full calendar of meetings for 2023 is available.<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ewrm.org.uk\">Enfield Whitewebbs Railway Modellers<\/a> &#8211; <strong>7:30pm<\/strong> <strong>every Thursday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This group of Society members meets every Thursday at 7:30pm in the railway carriage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also run the model railways every Tuesday and other Museum Open Days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be sure of a warm welcome.<\/p>\n<cite>See <a href=\"https:\/\/ewrm.org.uk\">ewrm.org.uk<\/a> for further information. <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Motorcycles <\/strong>&#8211; To be restarted post Covid-19 restrictions (was every 3rd Thursday of the month).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Custom Vehicles and Hot Rods<\/strong> &#8211; To be restarted post Covid-19 restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All our meetings take place at the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport Society Meetings open for all members &#8211; 8pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
