The recent weather has played havoc with our roads and we all need to take care to avoid the potholes of varying sizes and depths which are around. Be especially careful if you are on a motorbike or a cycle. There is even one in my road and plenty on the Ridgeway and in Potters Bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good news. We now have a live website. This has been designed by one of our members. We have so many talented members. It is password protected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here are some dates to be aware of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 23rd<\/sup> January- <\/strong>John Harrison will be talking about The Hurtigruten Cruise along the coast of Norway: the sights he saw, some of the ships seen, showing us the classic cars he spotted and no doubt telling us about Norwegian numberplates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 27th<\/sup> January –<\/strong>is the deadline for newsletter articles to John (john@theharrisonfamily.org.uk<\/a>) please.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 28th<\/sup> January–<\/strong> There is a demonstration against the ULEZ expansion in Trafalgar Square. It is a good time to lobby MPs and sign every petition against this if you haven\u2019t done so already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Membership Renewals <\/strong>If you intended to renew but haven\u2019t please do so now. Anyone who requires a card pass can request one for collection from the Museum or by post. Please contact Peter Moutell (membership.edvvs@yahoo.com<\/a>) or send a text to me on 07852804465. Peter is usually volunteering from 12noon each Tuesday if you need to speak with him about how to access your card on your mobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 13th<\/sup> February \u2013 <\/strong>Paul Griffin will be giving a talk \u2018Historic Cars -When is the history not the whole story?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many of you met Paul when he loaned us the Stirling Moss Racing Cars last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Saturday 25th<\/sup> February \u2013 Big Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll Party 7.30pm with DJ \u2018Big Paul\u2019 <\/strong>Tickets \u00a310 on the door or from Eventbrite online. Tell your friends. It is a fundraise for the Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Take care of yourselves.
