It has been an eventful few weeks for Society members. We have sadly lost two of our stalwart members- Ray Ledwith and Dave Draper. Several of our members have had long overdue surgery and some have found themselves in hospital suddenly with illness or a broken shoulder in the case of Chris Saunders. We hope that they will all make a good recovery and soon be back with us. And we are now post-pageant! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The season for car shows is well and truly with us. It was lovely to see so many members going to the Copped Hall Open Day last Sunday for the first time. Great relaxation and a wonderful place to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring a classic or American car if you can. We would like some locals to go in procession from the house so if you would like to do this let me know and I will give you the details. No flowers but donations to the Museum will be welcome. DIane thanks everyone for the cards and flowers she has received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Details of Ray’s funeral,<\/strong> which as you know is 1st July at 1.00pm at Greenacres Crematorium Epping and afterwards at the Rye House Stadium. No flowers. No black. The family say you can wear his racing colours of red and yellow if you wish.
