Railway Modellers – Theme Calendar 2023

Each running open Sunday has a specific theme to the locomotives and the trains.
The themes for 2023 are as follows:

29th JanuaryFree Running Day (anything goes)
26th FebruaryPre 1923 design locomotives (including The Rocket)
26th MarchThe Big Four Locomotives (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR)
30th AprilBR Steam Locomotives (early and Late crest)
28th May— CLOSED
25th JuneBR Green and Blue Diesels
30th JulyThomas and various Friends
27th August— CLOSED
Saturday 23rd SeptemberEWRM Model Railway Show – Modern Image
Sunday 24th SeptemberSmall Locomotives (less than 8 wheels)
29th OctoberDiesel Locomotives (1980’s to present day)
26th NovemberFree Running Day (anything goes)
31st December— CLOSED

Monday 13th February – Paul Griffin will be giving a talk ‘Historic Cars -When is the history not the whole story?’

Saturday 25th February – Big Rock’n’Roll Party 7.30pm  with DJ ‘Big Paul’ Tickets £10 on the door or from Eventbrite online.  Tell your friends. It is a fundraiser for the Museum.
